HOME but not GREAT

WELL---

Not too much to say!!! Yeah right :-) This is yet again never ending.

Zachary has had a very hard time tolerating his medication through his "g-tube" since he came home. We have actually had to give him no more than 2ml at a time. Which means he is given medications at least once every hour throughout the day and night! Hopefully, we thought we could increase the dosages and move to less frequent dosages.

Monday morning at about 2am Zachary was up and felt warm! Yes, he was warm he ended up having a 103 fever. Since he can't tolerate anything through his tube without retching and vomiting we went into the doctor. She did his blood and found out his white blood cell count is very high, and prescribed us some antibiotics in hopes to fight whatever is brewing inside.

He is still not tolerating the feeds at the strength they want, but he just can't handle it. We will reevaluate the next steps (feed strength) over the next week or two! He is at 30, but they want him at 50 an hour. We will see :-)

Meredith went back to work, and it was HARD! However, she really misses her class.
Adam is still working, and took the morning off to be with Zach at the doctors.
Garrett and Dominic are hanging in there. They are just glad to have the entire family home.

Thanks again for all the help, prayers, donations, and cards.
